Delicious mix for garlic herb butter

This herb mix is a carefully selected mix of the most delicious organic herbs. This seasoning can be used to make your own herb butter, but can also be used to add flavour to roasted vegetables, grilled meat or even pasta dishes.

Make your own herb butter?

This mix is ideal for making delicious garlic herb butter.

Ingredients and equipment:

The only things you need are:

• a packet of unsalted butter
• this herb mix
• a bowl
• a fork
• a wooden board
• a roll of cling film

Preparation method for herb butter:

1. Let the unsalted butter warm up to room temperature by keeping it in a dark place outside the fridge.
2. When the butter is soft enough to knead but still firm, put it in the bowl.
3. Add the spice mix (to taste) and mix it through the butter with a fork. (Do not try it with your hands, because then the butter will quickly become too soft).
4. When the butter and herbs have been mixed well, spread a piece of cling film on a wooden board and roll the herb butter in it into a sort of sausage, about as thick as a smoked sausage.
5. Place your herb butter in the fridge to cool down again before use.

Perfect for on baguettes or over your salmon, lamb or steak! And thanks to the herb butter's handy shape, you can easily cut off just the right amount with a knife.
