TVP Soy Chuncks Coarse Organic
What is Soya?
Soya is made from the soya bean which comes from the soya plant. Originally it comes from the Far East. Soy is rich in protein, unsaturated fat and contains iron and vitamin B1.
Useful nutritional values
Soy is very healthy and very useful for vegans and vegetarians who need to watch their protein intake. Soy has very healthy nutrients such as vitamins B B1,B2, B6,B9 (folic acid) and vitamin K. However, it contains NO VITAMIN B12, and therefore does not fall under the full-fledged meat replacements.
In addition, it is very rich in minerals such as copper, magnesium, manganese and iron.
What can you do with Soy Chunks? You can use them for anything you want to give a meat-like texture. You can also make soy milk. This is very easy to make with just about 30 grams of soy chunks in a litre of water. Soak 30 grams of soya chunks in 500 ml of water. Put this and another 500 ml of water in the blender and grind to a homogeneous mass. Strain the mass with a fine sieve, or squeeze out in a cheese / milk / hydrophilic cloth.
